Successful Collaboration Visit by Rennes School of Business and Institut français Indonésie to the Faculty of Economics, UNJ

Jakarta, 21 May 2024 – The Faculty of Economics at Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) had the honor of hosting representatives from Rennes School of Business and Institut français Indonésie at The Raden Adjeng Kartini Building, 8th floor. The visit, which commenced at 13:30 WIB, was a significant step towards strengthening international collaborations and enhancing academic excellence.

 

Rennes School of Business, formerly known as École Supérieure de Commerce de Rennes, is a prestigious French business school located in Rennes, the capital of Brittany. Founded in 1990 by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Rennes, the institution is renowned for its commitment to providing a global business education.

   

The visit was graced by prominent figures from both institutions. From the Faculty of Economics, UNJ, the following attended:

– Prof. Usep Suhud, M.Si., Ph.D. – Dean of the Faculty of Economics, UNJ

– Dr. Agung Wahyu Handaru, S.T., M.M. – Vice Dean of Academic Affairs, FE UNJ

– Dr. Indra Pahala, M.Si. – Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, FE UNJ

– Study Program Coordinators

– Head and Deputy Head of Quality Assurance of the Faculty of Economics

– Head of the Internationalization Lab, FE UNJ

– Lecturers of the Faculty of Economics, UNJ

 

Representing Rennes School of Business and Institut français Indonésie were:

– Charles Quellec – Southeast Asia Manager of Rennes School of Business

– Gema Akbar Pratama – Deputy Attaché for University Cooperation of IFI-French Embassy in Indonesia

– Chaymaa Neddad – National Coordinator of Campus France Indonesia of IFI-French Embassy in Indonesia

 

The meeting provided a platform for fruitful discussions on potential collaborations, such as double degree, student and faculty exchanges, and joint research initiatives. Both parties expressed enthusiasm for the opportunities that lie ahead and committed to furthering their cooperation to enhance educational experiences and outcomes.

 

This visit marks a pivotal moment in the Faculty of Economics’ journey towards internationalization. The collaborative efforts between UNJ and renowned international institutions like Rennes School of Business and Institut français Indonésie highlight our commitment to providing a global education environment for our students and faculty.
