5 | Management Information Systems | Management Information Systems | A Management Information System (MIS) refers to a computer-based system that collects, generates, stores, distributes, and utilizes the information necessary for managers to manage an organization and improve its performance. Nowadays, most business processes in companies are performed using Information Technology (IT) based on computer technology. Therefore, managers must have the essential skills to use IT effectively in management.
In this course, we will study a broad range of basic topics necessary to cultivate the ability to utilize information technology for management. The topics covered in this course include the types of information systems, telecommunications, the Internet, data resource management, e-business and e-commerce, management innovation utilizing IT, IT and strategy, knowledge management systems, artificial intelligence, development of information systems, security, and more. 7 | International Trade | International Monetary Economics | First, we will examine the basic concepts of international balance of payments and the challenges of adjusting it, as well as the mechanisms of international capital movements. Then, we will learn about the mechanism of international payments, which involves the buying and selling of foreign currencies. We will provide an overview of London and New York markets as traditional international financial markets, as well as the Euro market as a new international financial market.
