The 2 nd International Stock Portfolio Analysis Competition 2023, with the theme “Empowering the Future: Maximizing the Potential of Indonesia Equity Market for Young Investors,” is an upcoming economics expo event hosted by the FE UNJ Investment Club. The competition aims to provide an opportunity for young investors to showcase their analytical skills in the field of equities and to promote a culture of informed investing among the youth. The competition seeks to empower the youth to take charge of their financial future by equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed investment decisions. About The Competition

The 2023 International Stock Portfolio Analysis Competition is a global competition that requires teams consisting of three diploma or undergraduate students from the same university to participate. A total of 237 participants from 79 teams and 28 universities, including 3 teams from foreign universities, and 76 teams from domestic universities. The external judges for the competition were

  2. Fikrian Naufal from the Indonesia Stock Exchange,
  3. Satriawan from Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia,
  4. Arfian from Bank BRI,
  5. Erwin Vitrianudin from Berduit,
  6. Ripa Lestari

The competition comprises of two rounds, with the first round requiring each team to construct a portfolio consisting of five stocks from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Participants will then monitor their portfolio growth over a period of 14 days, after which they will prepare an investment strategy report and conduct an analysis of industries and companies. In the first round, winners will be selected based on the strength and clarity of their investment strategies, as well as their stock selection for their portfolios. While the growth of their portfolios is also considered, it is not the primary determinant of their score. A team of judges will review the reports submitted by the participating teams and select the top 10 teams to advance to the final round. These teams will be invited to present their reports online to a panel of expert judges.
